Excuses..but seriously.

Tragedy.  I haven't posted because i've been paranoid.  Yes paranoid.  I thought this crazy camera of mine had a mind of it's own.  Long story short...bag the saga, toss the drama, my camera started showing question marks where my pictures were.  YES Question marks!  Um hello camera, you took the picture you KNOW what it's of, duh.  So i've been paranoid to post pictures afraid it will do it again.  But don't worry, user error! Usually how it is. Sooo...here's a little of our memorial weekend happenings.

The Mother and I started out our morning by taking our flowers and fence (brought to you by our lovely mother nails and her crafty talents) to Oma.  We miss that gal.  

I've always been a lover of this picture.  Doesn't this just shout romance?  When I look at this picture, I see love.  Dedication.  Trust. He canoed her all across that lake.  Tender. Love ya Momo.  And Opa i bet you were a pretty fine man as well.  We all can't wait to meet ya! 

Then we traveled down to grams and gramps canyon where we had a family get together. Love those.  We had delicious food, red neck pinata (aka hit a can back and forth with sticks and shovels), snail collecting approx. 50 found, which then turns into snail pie, leaf soup, and sand crabs.  Never a dull moment.

Then we played a little jersey volleyball. And loser bought snowcones.  No worries, we strategically place a parent on each team.  :)  Favorites?  Dad usually switches it up.  Mykie likes Rootbeer.  Will likes Hulk/Pokemon.  Mom likes Lemon.  Marq likes...whatever she feels.  Ace and Sash let their taste buds live in the moment as well.  But mine you ask?  Oh no i get the same thing EVERY time.  Die hard. Wedding Cake and Horchata.  Never Fails.

And for the Hawaii picture of the day...dum dum da duuuum...I'll post 3 seeing as that's what I'm lackin.

we loved the beach guys.  Please take us and leave us all day.  We don't mind!

Marq got realll sunburned that first day. Let's just say it was ouchy-mama and she wore a tshirt a lot of the time.

As for me?  Leave me out with the fish.  I LOVED the snorkeling. Definitely take after my Poppi with that one.

Mountain man Rendezvous Troopers

We LOVE the mountain man rendezvous.  If you've never been, go. We're annual participants in this event.  This year it was a little cold for our liking, but we trekked up there anyways.  A little mud and rain never stopped us!

Come on now Gene bug..where's that happy face?  We all know how much you like getting mud on your jeans!

No pics of the parentals!!! How'd I manage that one!  Sorry legal guardians...better luck next time.

ALLLLOOOHA! You guessed it.  Took a little venture over to the loviest place i've ever been.  Loviest meaning the best, most beautiful, fantastic place EVER! Boy did we love it. I'll try to post at least one out of the gazillion pictures a day.  (don't hold me to this one but I'll try.)

We Fierce

Holy smokers...our bloggy here is being abandoned. Poor little dude. I'll tell YOU who's the poor little dude, and that's ME!  My baby Bibi was a boy...aka rooster.  You guys all know what that means :(  I did manage to keep him alive.  After help from the Broseph we found him a very nice home with all the ladies.  

This is "Brooder" in his new home.  (Do you recall when i first got this little guy? Named him brooder.  Motherly instinct obviously told me he was a boy from the beginning.  Should've known.

Mama misses ya broodster! (and so do your other chicken friends)

Been awhile I see. And don't be gettin use to this either I tell ya.  It's gonna be a crazy week. Finals. Yuck. 
Goals for this week:  

• Get through with my sanity
• Do good on my tests
• Prioritize (gotta have time to study)
• Stand tall, happy face, love life
• Laugh...laugh hard

Yeah,...we're still not quite sure if Bibi's a boy or girl.  Her mamas gonna be devastated if we have to take her to "the farm". Tears. She's a diva I tell you what.  The moment we open their little home she sprawls all out and basks in the sun. That's my girl!..or boy.

Top left..ya see Bibi?  Yeah...it's a problem.  None of the either chickens have that comb. ah oh.  I'm in denial.

Be jealous.  Of our rockin chicken coop AND Car Car's mad skills.  Who would've guessed!  Don't you LUUUUVE it?  The birdies sure do.  They are getting cuter people...I'll post some cute shots..tomorrow hopefully (not making any promises). And yes.  We're getting so serious about these peanuts that we even have a logo.  Check it.  I had no idea all of the wood talent i'm surrounded by.  We've got handy men all over the place!  Who knew!
